We are proud to announce the renewal of the collaboration agreement between the South African Institute of Valuers (SAIV) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
The agreement was signed by SAIV President, Kobus Nel, and RICS Acting President, Nicholas Maclean, OBE RD FRICS IRRV (Hons), at the Balalaika Hotel in Sandown on 5 November 2025. This renewed collaboration reinforces the strong working relationship between SAIV and RICS and strengthens our focus on international standards, cooperative initiatives, information sharing, conferences and events, research, training, and the use of facilities.
We were also pleased to welcome RICS Acting President, Nicholas McLean, and TC Chetty, RICS Representative in South Africa, along with members of our SAIV National Executive (NATEX) team who attended the signing.
This partnership reaffirms our shared commitment to advancing excellence and professional alignment within the global valuation community.
