A Warm Welcome and AGM Highlights

Delegates were greeted by Graham Allan, Chairperson of the KZN Branch, who opened the session and guided attendees through the AGM proceedings. His address offered a clear overview of the branch’s activities over the past year, highlighting achievements, ongoing initiatives, and the collective efforts that continue to strengthen the valuation profession in the region.

Before the seminar sessions began, guests enjoyed a hearty breakfast which was an ideal setting for networking, reconnecting with colleagues, and sparking new professional conversations.

Insightful Presentations and Discussions

The seminar portion opened with a presentation by Dr Nuthan Maharaj, titled “eThekwini Metro: Economic Development Incentive Policy.” Dr Maharaj unpacked the city’s approach to stimulating economic growth, offering valuable insights into policy mechanisms and opportunities relevant to property and valuation professionals.
