The appointment, time frame for completion of the instruction and the fee must be discussed and agreed upon directly with the valuer.
Take note that the involvement of the South African Institute of Valuers (SAIV) is made in utmost of good faith and is merely intended to assist members of the public to obtain the services of a qualified professional valuer.
The SAIV accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever arising from any damages/claims suffered by any party as a result of the appointment of a valuer through requesting professional services from a valuer on the SAIV’s website at the request or instruction of any party.
