We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with South Africa’s POPIA.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the main website, we collect the data shown in the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string for spam detection.
An anonymized string (hash) of your email may be sent to Gravatar to check for a profile image. After approval, your profile picture will be visible with your comment. Gravatar’s privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/.

Logging in to the LMS, membership portal, or accessing recorded webinars will create cookies to save login and display preferences.

Recorded webinar quiz attempts are tracked using cookies and IP addresses to enforce the 3-attempt limit and ensure eligibility for Continuous Educational Training (CET) points.

Login cookies last 2 days (or 2 weeks if “Remember Me” is selected); display preference cookies last 1 year. Logging out removes login cookies.

Google Analytics may also set cookies to measure site traffic and usage.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles or pages may include embedded content (e.g., videos or images) from other websites. Embedded content behaves as if you visited the other website directly. These sites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional tracking, and monitor your interaction with the content.
Who we share your data with

Data from recorded webinar quiz attempts (IP addresses, cookies, and results) is stored for administrative and CET compliance purposes.

Password reset requests include your IP address.

Visitor comments may be processed through automated spam detection services.

The LMS stores course access and user account information.

GlueUp collects and manages membership information; staff manage this internally.
Data retention

Recorded webinar quiz results and attempts are retained until the user account exists or as required for CET compliance.

Comments and their metadata are stored indefinitely.

Registered users’ data on the LMS, recorded webinar portal, and GlueUp is retained as long as accounts exist.
Your rights

You can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you or ask for its deletion.

This does not include data we are legally or administratively obliged to keep, such as recorded webinar quiz attempts required for CET compliance.
Where your data is sent
